On the morning of March 9th, the annual meeting for the 2019 freshmen in Honors School was held in the lecture hall 510 of the library.  Ji Zhicheng, Vice President of Jiangnan University and Dean of Honors School, and Jin Jian, Executive Deputy Dean of Honors School attended the meeting together with all the faculty and 180 excellent freshmen.

 At the meeting, Vice President Ji first congratulated and welcomed freshmen of 2019. He pointed out that the honor students should possess three "good" qualities of being good at learning, being good at thinking, and pursuing the best. He put forward the ardent hope that the freshmen should move forward with great goals and heavy loads, broaden horizons and make innovations. “The youth is used to struggle.” He encourages honor freshmen to study hard, strive to explore hard and continue to create. Finally, He wished that they could meet good teachers and helpful friends and harvest the future.

Then the meeting proceeded with the ceremony of issuing admission letter. With excitement and joy, the student representative accepted admission letter solemnly. Teachers in Honors School interpreted in detail the talents training model, quality and innovation courses and management methods, etc.
